01What is the difference between a transparent table and a pooled table?
A transparent table has a one-to-one relationship with a database table. Pooled tables were stored together in a table pool; in S/4HANA, most pooled and cluster tables are converted to transparent tables.
02What are internal tables?
Internal tables are temporary tables in memory used to process data at runtime. They can be standard, sorted or hashed tables.
03What is a BAdI?
A Business Add-In (BAdI) is an object-oriented enhancement technique that lets developers add custom logic to SAP standard programs without modifying the original code.
04What is the difference between SELECT SINGLE and SELECT UP TO 1 ROWS?
SELECT SINGLE is intended for reading one record using the full primary key. SELECT UP TO 1 ROWS reads the first matching record and is suitable when the full key is not specified.
05What are CDS views?
Core Data Services (CDS) views define data models at the database layer in S/4HANA, pushing logic down to HANA for better performance. They support annotations for OData and Fiori apps.
